Introduction
The easiest way to interact with cryptocurrency and the DeFi project is to know how to access Mind Smart Chain. Trust Wallet is a great way to do this outside of a desktop browser and only takes a few minutes to set up The Trust Wallet app is a wallet that requires no registration. It is available for iOS and Android users. Once installed, you can easily connect your wallet to DApps including MINDchainSwap, SushiSwap, and Beefy Finance. Trust Wallet is not just for BSC it also supports Ethereum, the POA network and the Callisto blockchain, to name a few. In this guide, we will use PancakeSwap as an example, but the process is almost the same for most DeFi platforms.

Adding MIND tokens to your Trust Wallet list
After installing Trust Wallet, your default list of tokens and crypto is quite small. Let’s add MIND token to your list to make it visible in your Trust Wallet.
1. Open the Wallet tab and click the icon in the top right corner.
2. Search for the token you want to add to your list and click the toggle button, so it turns green. In this example, we’re adding MIND coin, which is Mind Smart Chain's native coin.
3. Once you add Mind Smart Chain to Trust Wallet then you’ll see MIND on your Wallet tab and any balance that you might have.
Configuring the wallet
You can immediately notice that we are still dealing with an Ethereum wallet. After all, it won't work with Mind Smart Chain (MSC). At worst, you could lose funds by sending it to an address you can't use. Let's change that. We want to access the settings to direct the wallet to the MSC node.
1. Select Settings from the dropdown menu.
2. On the Settings page, we want to locate the Network menu.
3. To add the Mind Smart Chain manually we want to click Add Network in the top-right corner - it's not packaged with Trust Wallet.
Add Network Manually
We can use mainnet networks on Trust Wallet. Below are the parameters to fill in for each.
Mainnet
- Network Name: Mind Smart Chain
- New RPC URL: https://rpc-msc.mindchain.info/
- ChainID: 9996
- Symbol: MIND
- Block Explorer URL: https://mainnet.mindscan.info
We used this tutorial for how to use mainnet. You can use Trust Wallet to transfer your tokens.
Once you save the network and return to the main view, you'll notice two things: the network is automatically set to the one you entered, and the units are no longer in ETH, but in MIND.
Closing thoughts
Trust Wallet is one of the most popular mobile apps to use and has a vast range in the blockchains and tokens it supports. It also acts as a gateway into NFTs and the whole DeFi ecosystem, so getting to know your way around it is important. The steps outlined above apply to other DApps as well, so once you’ve got this down, you’re really good to go.
